Alzheimers Disease Late Stage

Alzheimer's disease late stage

There are many stages associated with Alzheimer's disease. Alzheimer's disease late stages are the worst ones that a patient and the family members are going to have to endure. These are the times when the disease is getting worse and the patient is going to need round the clock care.

The later stages of Alzheimer's disease are when major gaps in the memory start to happen. The victims are going to need more assistance in the day to day activities that they do and may also have to have more checkups with their doctor and have to start more treatments. This is the time when the person is starting to become more dependent on others to help them with their daily routines.

Alzheimer disease late stages are when a person is going to start to forget things that happened in their life. They are going to forget things like their address, their children's names, and even their phone number. They may become more confused and will often times have trouble with counting.

In the late stages of the disease, patient will need to have help getting dressed, picking out the right clothes to wear and making decisions for small things. They may also need some assistance in going to the bathroom and eating. This is when a person is starting to become dependent on others to help them get through each day. Family members are going to have the hardest time with this stage of the disease.

The memory will start to get worse in Alzheimer disease late stage. The individual will start to have personality changes and even some hallucinations about certain things. They may be thinking they are in the past and think that they are a certain age or remembering a specific time in their life.

It is usually around this point when internal problems are going to happen. They are going to start to notice their body shutting down and the end of the disease may be near. For the end, the only option is death. This is going to be a long and tiring process. The patient will need to be surrounded by their loved ones, even if they do not recognize them. It is important to be with them and let them know how much they are loved when their final days are approaching. This is a special time for them as well as the loved ones that have to say good-bye.
